Get to know HiMedia Laboratories GmbH
HiMedia Laboratories GmbH – or HME for short – is a 100% subsidiary of the Indian company HiMedia Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.. The latter has been active in the field of microbiology for over 45 years and is one of the three global market leaders in this area for several years now.
Being among the leaders in a field does not mean that everyone knows your product range. And even globalization and technical progress are not enough to completely eliminate all problems in trade between different countries. To alleviate some of these challenges and help HiMedia’s European distributors move forward, the subsidiary HiMedia Laboratories GmbH was founded in 2017. HME is located in Einhausen (Germany), right next to the A5 highway and very close to Frankfurt (a. M.) Airport.

Providing our customers with the best possible service and excellent quality products is our top priority. In order to maintain this, but also to constantly improve the service, it is also necessary to focus not only on the obvious “what” (such as product quality and direct professional and helpful communication with the customer), but also on the “how”.
Importing products from India to Europe is costly, time-consuming and often challenging due to different laws and regulations. Putting the organization and responsibility for this in the hands of a single company, ensuring regular and well-planned deliveries and thus reducing the overall delivery time and costs required for distributors, and through this of course also for you, the customer, is what HME has as its goal.
In our warehouse we have more than 1000 of HiMedia’s over 30000 products permanently in stock – and the number is growing! Doesn’t sound much? We don’t actually count the different packaging sizes! For all those products we can guarantee you a delivery all over Europe in two to three working days if required.

To enable you, as our valued customer, to virtually disregard the question “how do I get the goods I want!?”, HiMedia has an Europe-wide distributor network. HME helps you to find a dealer near you and organizes the procurement of the required products from India. We will also take care of the onward transport to your dealer. Our product expert is also available to you and will answer your questions about the complete HiMedia product range and the application of the individual products at any time.
